6th October 2026GilSince the wedding on October 2, it has been rather hazardous walking up Chapel Slope: the ground has become rather hol(e)y. As I was carefully making my way across the graveyard, something grabbed my leg and tried to pull me into the ground on at least two occasions. Fortunately I was able to wrestle free, but I dread to think what would have happened to a less abled person. Can the Village Council please look into this matter, the sooner the better?

Apparently there is a nice tea shop and a site where interesting ceremonies have occurred, especially on the 'splitting of the scone' stone.
